This project was proudly completed by Albert Electrical Services in Market Harborough, delivering a high quality installation featuring the latest Hypervolt Home Pro 3 EV charger alongside a full upgrade of the property’s main consumer unit. The result is a safer, smarter and future ready electrical system tailored to the client’s needs.
As with all work carried out by Albert Electrical Services, the project began with a detailed Electrical Installation Condition Report EICR. This allowed us to fully assess the existing installation and identify any underlying safety concerns. A number of issues were discovered and professionally rectified before any upgrade work commenced, ensuring the property was brought up to a safe standard.
Following this, the existing consumer unit was replaced with a modern, high specification unit complete with individual RCBO protection across all circuits and built in surge protection SPD. This upgrade provides enhanced safety, reduces the risk of nuisance tripping and protects the installation against voltage spikes, giving the homeowner long term peace of mind.
The Hypervolt Home Pro 3 EV charger installation provides the client with a sleek, reliable and energy efficient charging solution, ideal for everyday use and compatible with smart tariffs. The charger was supplied using a 6mm EV Ultra cable, ensuring a robust and compliant installation designed to perform over the long term.
At the customer’s request, all cabling was carefully routed internally through the garage, achieving a clean, tidy and discreet finish while maintaining full safety and accessibility.
All work was carried out in full accordance with BS 7671 wiring regulations and completed to the highest standard. The installation was thoroughly tested, commissioned and verified before handover, ensuring everything was operating safely and efficiently from day one.
